Quiet Sun originally existed as a band called “Pooh And the Ostrich Feather” between 1970-72 and split when the members went if to other bands, most notably Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music. They reformed in ‘75 under the name of Quiet Sun and released this sole album which also features some contributions from Brian Eno. Very good prog with moments of delicate intricacies and killer jams. A rich palette of sounds.
Picked this up at a fantastic shop called Joint Custody in Washington DC a few years back for like $10. Sounds amazing.
