Diamond Head initially self-released their debut LP in a plain while sleeve and the first 1000 or so were generally autographed by one of or more the band members along with potentially some other notes, hand-written track listings, etc. Originally just referred to as “special limited edition LL” and then the white album… it wasn’t until a 1981 reissue where it was officially titled Lightning To The Nations. Easily one of the most important NWOBHM LPs from 1980, and honestly, all time. All killer, no filler. If you don’t know this, you are missing out.
2017 reissue from German label High Roller Records who have a long track record of superior quality metal reissues and this is a prime example of that. Expanded with an entire extra LP of tunes and sound is amazing. Would love to have an OG copy, but this is the version I needed.
