Stumbled across the in a local shop the other day and could not pass it up. Motörhead put out so many albums, it’s a lot to keep up. I never turned away from Motörhead, but admit I was into other things in the 1990s and 2000s and had to play catch up later on, which has been a a lot! The band has a TON of albums out and not unlike AC/DC the musical evolution after the band’s peak slowed to a crawl. However, that’s not to say later Motörhead isn’t good. In fact most of their later era stuff is actually crushingly heavy and a well done! Kiss Of Death is definitely one of the heavier ones and I love the crap out of it.
Original 2006 German pressing on Steamhammer. Don’t think this is a rare find, but not something I’d expect to see in the wild all that much, especially for a fair price. I have a lot of later Motörhead on CD but not so much vinyl… this pickup make me this I should probably look into filling those gaps at some point.
