I literally just came across this at a small record meet near my house this past Saturday and this is my first spin. Like their first album, this second album is anything but NWOBHM. While it seems Nightwing is leaning into the tonalities of the 1980s, they are very much a 70s hard rock band in every other way… There was still a niche for some of that in the early 80s, but it wouldn’t last. This isn’t the end for Nightwing though… they released more albums into the 80s. Curious, but not essential listening.
