Change is the only constant with the Pink Fairies. After more lineup shuffles, the band is down to a tri with guitarist/vocalist Larry Wallis joining bassist Duncan Sanderson and drummer Russell Hunter. With Paul Rudolf no longer in the band, Wallis takes on all song writing duties for Kings Of Oblivion. The album feels tighter, more purposeful, and rocks pretty hard. No surprise that Wallis would take part in the initial incarnation of Motörhead just a couple years later.
Found at a shop in Las Vegas a few years ago. This copy was surely pressed in the 2010s, but is there isn’t much info out there on what year, or even which country it was made. Either way, it’s a nice quality release.
