Akercocke would quickly take their crazy progressive black/death metal to another level, but their debut is a brutally raw affair and that’s alright. This is some brutal satanic death metal, all the way. Fat riffs, some goofy interludes, and a lot of chaos. Much to love.
2017 UK reissue on Peaceville Records. First ever vinyl release of this one and it’s quite nice.
