This is a 4-way split EP featuring technical death metal bands Cryptic Shift, Replicant, Inoculation, and Astral Tomb. When I picked this up, I was only already familiar with Cryptic Shift and their track “Cosmic Dreams” was initially released digitally in 2017. The other bands I didn’t know, but it’s all pretty good shit. Production is generally top notch with the only demo sounding effort being from Astral Tomb… but honestly that track is still fantastic. It’s a quick play, but solid end to end. Excellent cover featuring the work of Bruce Pennington.
