One of the most legendary demos of the 1980s thrash era. Coroner were friends and actually served as roadies to Celtic Frost on their ‘86 North American tour with Voïvod so it’s logical that the band asked Tom Warrior to guest vocals on their demo… even though Ron Royce was already in the band (on bass only I guess at this time). Musically, Coroner is already on fire and having Tom sing here makes it pretty much solidifies gold status even though Ron’s vocals are unquestionably perfect for Coroner as the band evolves. The demo sound good too! Just a bit this on the bass from a production standpoint, but still effective enough. Really excellent time capsule!
2023 unofficial US presiding under a Death Row Records moniker. For a bootleg it’s pretty decent, but not as good as the 2014 official Greek release on No Remorse Records, but I only that on CD. Includes the Doomsday News compilation tracks “Arrogance In Uniform” and “Hate, Fire, Blood” plus a live recording of Totentanz.
