This is in fact a glorious 2xLP collection of the band’s demo recordings from 1991-92 plus the 2006 “Vanishing” sessions. One might assume that early 1990s demos recordings from an obscure and completely whack Finnish death metal band would be rough. I can tell you, that is not the case! These demos sound better than many proper albums I have heard. All off the sonic insanity happening on Nespithe is present, plus more. An absolutely fantastic archival release if there ever was one! And fucking hell, I love me some Demilich!
2021 repress on Finnish label Svart Records and it’s a superb release. Picked this up at a London shop called Sounds of the Universe… seems appropriate. Link is a 3 song sampler of the full set, for now.
