Eloy - Floating (1974)

By the time they put together Inside, Eloy were firing on all cylinders. Their sound (at this point) is like a a really heavy/faster Pink Floyd with vocals a little reminiscent of Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull but unique enough that you’re not really going to make that comparison when listening to ‘em. Not sure that’s a great description, hah. Very cool album and a high point from a band that has a lot of high points. Recommend!

1975 US pressing on Janus Records. Well traveled copy, but solid.
