Where to even start with a band like Evohé? A French Zeuhl band founded and n 1974 and are largely unknown with no actual releases during their initial run from 1974-81. However, they did make a handful of recordings and well, they are pretty much amazing.
This release includes just two tracks, the abridged version of K’A, which is just over 17 minutes of the full 43 minute version. Side two is made up of an excellent track titled Sharga. There would be a 2020 CD only release titled “77-81” that would include all of the band’s recorded material, including the full and edited versions of K’A,
2018 US pressing/version on Music Research Library. The French release looks a bit cooler and includes a CD with the complete version of K’A, but this vinyl pressing is solid l, so can’t complain. If a comprehensive vinyl release came out featuring all their recorded stuff, I’d be all over it. Amazing. Can’t find this on YouTube, but did locate the 18 minute cut of K’A which is absolutely worth a listen.
