Heldon’s fifth album is a wild excision into some noisy territory. Side A is largely percussion oriented and leans heavily experimental vs previous releases. It’s good, but isn’t as immersive as other material. By the second side, things begin to wind down with less jarring electronics. Solid album for and fan of Heldon/Richard Pinhas, but I would recommend starting here if you are just digging in.
2020 German reissue on Bureau B. Solid.
