Sad Wings Of Destiny finds Priest leaning into the darker/heavier aspects of their sound. The results are no less than stellar! Sad Wings Of Destiny is often noted as one of the most influential early metal albums and for good reason. Absolutely crushing.
1976 US pressing on Janus Records. Cover has some decent ring wear, but the LP is perfect. Had this one forever as well. I was able to clean up on a lot of Priest records back in the 1980s and 90s just because they were available and priced to move.
