Ludichrist! Hailing from Long Island (because, of course), these crazy fuckers start out very much as punk/crossover band with metal leaning sensibilities and that’s fully represented with this album. The goofy humor is already developed, and the band are on their way. Anyone even slightly interested in thrash metal or the crossover scene should dig into the first two Ludichrist albums. Produced and recorded by renowned death metal producer Randy Burns, not to mention cover art by Ed Repka.
Original 1986 US pressing on Combat Core. I came across this particular copy used at A-1 Records in Manhattan just a few years back. Solid.
