Opeth’s second album fearlessly forges ahead on the path they set with Orchid a couple of years prior. Further building on the long form compositions with two tracks taking up a full album side each. Quality of songcraft is superb though. Dan Swanö engineered and produced and that’s a good fucking thing!
2021 US RSD reissue on Candlelight Records/Spinefarm Records. Very nice!
