Looking back, the set list on featured on this 2xLP live album is very much a safe one. But fuck all of the performances aren’t brilliant. David Gilmour’s guitar playing is majestic and the whole presentation is fantastic. I was lucky enough to see Pink Floyd on this tour in 1987 (with my mom!) and can confirm it was a forever memorable performance. Great double live album, even if it doesn’t cover much of the material that I really love from the band.
Original 1988 US pressing on Columbia. I am pretty sure I got this at a record show in the early 1990/ (for cheap) and it’s absolutely mint.
