Not discounting The Endless River, but this is essentially Pink Floyd’s final proper studio album. Richard Wright is rightfully back as a full fledged member of the band and his songwriting contributions take things up a level. Probably the best thing they’ve done since the 1970s.
This is a 2014 unofficial “20th Anniversary Edition” release on a label called Oblivion Japan. It seems to be cut from a high quality source and sounds really quite good. Only recently got this at a record show, so my first time spinning this on vinyl.
