This is a funny live album. First released in 1971 for the Japan market under the title “UFO Landed Japan”, then released in Germany as “Live” and an entirely different cover (this). Rereleased again in 1982 in the UK with yet another cover and under the title “Live In Japan”. I have the UK version too. Have never actually come across the Japanese version, but it looks cool too.
The recordings for this album are a not very produced, so expect a more raw and a but muddy recording, but still good enough to make for a decent listen.
Not sure of when this German pressing on Telco came out as it’s undated. The album originally came out on Nova and seems to have been licensed for reissue from them. It’s a good pressing, but not too fancy. Love the cover art on the German version.
