Thanks to my older brother, UFO is one of the first bands I really connected with and are surely one of the primary factors that led me into a life of heavy metal. However, that was the Michael Schenker version of the band which came later. With this album, we have original guitarist Mick Bolton who is killer, but has a totally different style than the sound the band is known for. This first LP is heavy blues with some old rock ‘n’ roll covers. Definitely a band still looking for their sound.
1970 German pressing on Decca. Not in the greatest condition, but it’s a solid player.
