Going to tip my hand a reveal a bit of ignorance on my side. Before I bought this record at my local vinyl garage back in 2014, I had no idea who Alexis Korner was. I primarily checked it out because of the Roger Dean cover art and it was like $5, so made it happen. Aside from being a really cool blues rock album of various recordings from Korner’s career to date, he plays with a ton of collaborators. Robert Plant, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Steve Miller, Paul Rogers, Charlie Watts, and a ton of other notable folks play on this record. Very laid back album and just what I need at the moment.
