Dortmund thrashers Angel Dust formed in 1984 and released their debut album, Into The Dark Past, in 1986. Despite having come up in on thrash metal I barely knew about Angel Dust back in the 80s and didn’t check them out until way later. Solid riffage and pretty good song craft. Still not sold on the vocals, but I always appreciated that the thrash sub-genre never really had a predominant singing style, making way for a ton of variation. Solid record.
2022 Germans reissue/repress on High Roller Records.
