While not a full return to their early glory days, Angel Of Light is a solid effort and does reflect an embracing of similar writing styles more akin to their 1980 s/t masterpiece. It’s a well thought out and executed LP and I hope the band continue on this path as it does seem like they may still have a couple bangers in them after all these years.
2019 first European pressing on Metal Blade Records. Got this via Angel Witch’s bandcamp shop as a preorder deal. Really nice pressing and thick gatefold cover sleeve.
