This second album by Blues Image contains their biggest hit “Ride Captain Ride”. Still, while the band surely enjoyed a bit of fame for a short time, that was largely short-lived. They released one more album in 1970 (anfter this) and that was about it. Whatever the story is, this album is dynamic heavy blues rock with Latin rhythms and it smokes. If you like the heavy blues rock of the early 1970s, this one is pretty much essential.
