Enslaved continue to forge their own path. This album is somehow totally brutal and intricate at the same time. While the band have already fully indicated their progressive direction, this album feels like the first where that fact sits right up front. The band will embrace no less than rapid evolution from this point forward. The beginning of a fantastic new era for Enslaved.
2917 French reissue in Osmose Productions and yes… it’s great.
