Bruce Dickinson’s infamous (also famous) debut with Iron Maiden. In many ways this album is perfect, also a right of passage for anyone claiming to be a metalhead… you hadda know this. I love it, but still favor Powerslave and Killers as my al time favs. The best of both lineups. Sadly, this is the last album they did with drummer Clive Burr, who departed the band for personal/health reasons after this tour.
1982 US pressing on Harvest. I picked this up at a place called Cellophane Square in the late 80s for 99¢ and expected it to be jacked up, but it wasn’t. I should probably remove that sticker one of these days.
