The last of my Cult 12-inch singles. Wild Flower was of course the killer opening track from Electric. What this single features is an “extended rock mix” and a “guitar dub” version of that track. As much as I love the origina version, these mixes are mediocre, at best. The hidden gem on this single is yet another non-LP cut titled Love Trooper which is pretty smokin’ and saves the day for this release.
1987 UK pressing on Beggars Banquet. Found this at a Wax Trax Records in Salt Lake City back in like 1997 if I remember correctly. The ‘ol tagger still is on it, hah. Link goes to Love Trooper for now.
