Before their debut a/t album, Bang had initially recorded “Death Of A Country” which contained heavier lyrical themes and was sort of a concept album. It was rejected by the Capitol at the time and the band went back and recorded their self-titled debut with this recording hitting the archives for about 30 years or so. Eventually resurrected and released in 2011 by Rise Above Records it would have been a badass debut.
2016 reissue on Finnish label Svart Records and it’s fantastic. Picked this up brand new at a place called Armageddon Shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts back in 2017.
