Despite losing drummer and co-songwriter Frank Diorio, Bang managed this one last LP in 1973 before calling it a day. It’s a shame too! Although not as compelling as their last two records, the band certainly seemed like they had more to give, perhaps after snapping back with a permanent drummer, etc., but that’d never be. Good record, without a doubt.
Original 1973 US pressing on Capitol Records that I landed at a shop called Deep Groove in Richmond, Virginia of all places. Great little shop, actually.
