Embrace Of Memory is the album that introduced me to Darkestrah and at the time it really pulled me in. This is going to sound weird, but at the time this came out I was going through a bit of an internal reconciling about my take on death and black metal for dumb reasons not worth going into here. I think I had discovered both Darkestrah and Drudkh at about the same time and became obsessed with both bands for a brief period of time. Early 2000s interwebz was a great time for the music-obsessed is all I sayin’.
2005 first pressing from German label No Colours Records. Came across this copy at a place called Kvlt in Helsinki, Finland back in 2014.
