Released in 1977 following Tommy Bolin’s death, I believe this was the very first official live recordings released from his time with the band. Not nearly as well produced as the two previously released “made in” live albums, but it was recorded by Martin Birch and it’s solid enough… if anything it seems like the final mastering is a bit lackluster, or at least with my copy. It’s a cool album if you’re a Deep Purple weirdo like me.
1978 Columbian pressing on EMI/Odeon. Found this at a record show way back it’s definitely an oddity. but I am plenty happy with it.
