First live album from Deep Purple and they go big with this 2xLP set sourced from a pair of Japan shows in Osaka and Tokyo circa 1972. The band are absolutely at the top of their game and the Martin Birch engineered recordings perfectly capture the fire that was happening on stage. This is highly regarded as a top notch live album for a reason. Seriously, one of the best of the era.
1973 US pressing on Warner Bros Records. Sort of remember picking this up at a record show some years back. The permanent marker bits next to the track titles are not mine, hah.
