The first full-length album by English Dogs is a 1:1 continuation of the Mad Punx EP. Very much English punk, but definitely with a metallic edge similar to contemporaries like Discharge, Broken Bomes, and GBH. It’s good. This is the last album the original band did with singer Wakey. Their next release would be a significant shift to a more metallic sound and… hell yes.
2016 UK reissue on Let Them Eat Vinyl. Sounds great and comes in a nice gatefold sleeve. To add to that it includes the entire Mad Punx EP on side D as a bonus.
