Following their amazing Below The Lights LP, Enslaved wastes no time pushing the boundaries of what they do with Isa. While I love this album when it came out, I was clearly still in a WTF stage of wondering how a band could just keep releasing albums while simultaneously evolving and maintaining such a high quality of musical output. Enslaved is not a typical band. Isa isn’t even one of my favorites by them and it’s still fucking excellent, IMHO.
Original 2004 UK pressing on Back On Black. This one is tough to find on vinyl and I was lucky enough to stumble across this copy at a local shop for a decent enough price.
