Bands releasing live albums recorded in Japan, and especially Tokyo seemed to be a hot trend back in the 1970s and into the early 80s. Despite 100% falling into that trope, the Scorpions dropped a blazing live album with Tokyo Tapes. Absolutely smokes and a fan-fucking-tastic display of how great this particular lineup was.
