Hillage really landed a beauty with Green. This album is sort of technical, high level progressive rock playing mixed with late 70s psychedelic sounds, so ambient passages, and some funky parts. When people talk about rich tapestries of music, this album always comes to mind for me. One of my favorite works by Hillage, without a doubt.
Original 1978 UK pressing on Virgin. There are still good inexpensive copies out there for the taking and definitely recommended if you come across one.
