A full length collection of early tracks featuring the original Dr. Know singer Brandon Cruz. These tracks feature a much more raw, definitely more punk version of the band vs the much more metallic Plug-In Jesus or This Island Earth. Mystic Records was definitely looking to cash in on Dr. Know’s wider (still modest) so was with being signed to Death Records, etc. despite all that, it’s a pretty cool little album and worth owning if you’re a fan of the band or even early hardcore punk. I like Cruz’s vocals quite a bit, even if I prefer the direction they took with Kyle Toucher took on vox.
1987 US pressing on Mystic Records, I may have gotten this via mailorder direct from Mystic back in the 80s as I definitely ordered stuff from them back in the day. No link for this one yet, sadly.
