Something happened during the US leg of the Let Us Prey touring cycle that totally caused the original lineup of Electric Wizard to implode. I vaguely remember Jus Oborn saying the this incarnation of EW was done. True to his word, he resurrected the band with and all new (yet not quite stable) lineup. The most notable addition being guitarist Liz Buckingham (formerly of 13) and the band was off to a new era. We Live is pretty awesome and assures the world that Electric Wizard still have souls to harvest and minds to corrupt.I dig this album, but I admit I am still not as versed here as I am with previous releases by the band.
2021 UK reissue on Rise Above Records. Picked this up at Moondog Records in Las Vegas this past April and zero regrets. Oh yeah!
