The debut EP from Green Lung is basically, perfection in a stoner doom metal album. A statement that I would not expect to have made from a band entering the music scene in said sub-genre circa 2018. So many bands have and continue to tread these roads but Green Lung has some magic on their side this time out. The songs are well crafted, the riffs epic, and the sound is badass. This is one of those releases I probably would have loved if it were released in 1984 or 2024. Retro, yet timeless. Do yourself a favor and put this in your ears.
2019 European pressing on Kozmik Artifactz and of the first batch of these on vinyl as the band had originally self-released the EP digitally and on cassette. So good!
