Respectable kickoff into the 80s by Hawkwind. Longtime drummer Simon King had left the band at the start of the recording session and was replaced by none other than Ginger Baker! Baker also toured with the band as a member, but they got sick of his classic Ginger Baker shenanigans after a while and split with him within a year. That said, Levitation is fucking fantastic!
1980 German pressing on Bronze. I have had great luck with finding Hawkwind albums in the wild and this one is no exception.
