The first King Crimson album is a musical game changer. Ultra progressive, super heavy and complex (at the start) yet, delicate and jazz vibes as the record goes on. It’s quite a beautiful thing and the first hints the world got of the searing roar of Robert Fripp and his KC counterparts, including Greg Lake, Ian McDonald, Michael Giles, etc.. Crucial, crucial album!
1975 US repress on Atlantic and it’s a beast. Sounds actually damn good.
