Nektar takes things a little further along the lines of space rock, but with some pretty catchy, more accessible songwriting here and there. The album is far from a commercial type release and is largely a live in the studio album, but the band still leave some doors open for the uninitiated. While a UK act, Nektar somehow retains a much more krautrock type sound than their fellow countrymen. Once again produced by Dieter Dierks. Good shit!
Original 1973 UK pressing on United Artists. This was easily the hardest Nektar for me to find in the wild and it took me years. I finally ended the search at a tiny and eclectic shop in Brooklyn NY called Material World. Recommended if you’re ever in the area.
