As a teenage metalhead in the 1980s, it may come as not surprise that my introduction to Nektar came from Iron Maiden covering the band’s King Of Twilight from this album. Maiden did a great job and set me on a mission to check out the band. I think I landed this early on, along with copies of Recycled and Remember The Future, which are all great. Anyway, overall A Tab In The Ocean is a solid psychedelic space rock LP, Recommend if you dig Pink Floyd, Eloy, Hawkwind, etc. Produced by none other than Dieter Dierks.
