I struggled getting into this album when it came out way back in 1989. It’s not a bad record at all, but the guitar tones and overall production is not ideal for this type of music. The band were clearly chasing a more metal direction at the time, which makes perfect sense for Raw Power in 1989, but there’s something of a misstep with this LP overall. Anyway, less essential that other Raw Power stuff, but a decent enough finisher for the band’s 1980s run.
