Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats was initially a solo outing by multi instrumentalist Kevin Starrs and Vol. 1 is sort of a home-recorded mess, but also kind of awesome at the same time. This 2017 vinyl pressing more or less solves for the most outrageous of the production issues and sounds pretty good. It’s raw, but also jams.
2017 US reissue on Rise Above Records and it’s pretty damn good.
