While I understand that Going For The One was a surprise success amongst Yes fans in the long run, I am not sure how well it sold as it did at the time. The band return in ‘78 with another single LP featuring shorter compositions and less instrumental passages. Unfortunately, for whatever reason this album did not hit the marks and was (and is) widely considered a flop. While I can certainly understand a bit of why things may not have landed back in 1978, I am listening to this right now and it sounds like a perfectly solid follow up to Going For Thr One… go figure. Not a crucial LP, but worth picking up if you are going down the Yes rabbit hole.
