Georg Deuter is a German multi instrumentalist and composer who got his start releasing two important krautrock albums in the early 1970s. His debut, simply titled “D” and Aum (this). He was very interested in world music, particularly Indian music and relocated to India for some time. His sound evolved into more of an early new age vibe, more approachable, but less engaging. I don’t yet have a copy of “D” but do very much like this LP when the house is quiet.
1979 German reissue on Kuckuck that I stumbled across at a short-lived shop called Puget Sounds a few years ago and I love it.
