John Nitzinger was/is a Texas guitarist and songwriter who has managed to pull off an interesting career path. He has written songs for Bloodrock, helmed an interesting solo career, and even spent some time as the guitarist for Alice Cooper. Here though, we have his first solo album, but he has a real band going here in the form of a power trio made up of Nitzinger on guitar/vox, bassist Curley Benton, and drummer Linda Waring and they are smokin’! Great little album, without a doubt!
1972 US pressing on Capitol Records and it’s a low-key beast. Landed this at a local shop on the cheap and I’ve been hooked ever since.
