After Atem, the TG refocused their sound a bit into electronic sequencing and pulsing rhythms for an entirely different feel that previous efforts. This is the beginning of the 1970s Tangerine Dream that most people know them for and it’s pretty damn good. This album is truly more important than I am letting on. A monumental milestone in the world of progressive rock and electronic music.
1988 US reissue on Virgin. I landed this at a place called A-1 Records in NYC a few years back and it’s a fantastic player. I sometimes consider getting an original gatefold copy, but this one sounds real nice too.
