The second album by Uriah Heep is a seriously heavy affair. The production on this one is surprisingly raw in comparison to Heep’s debut, but hot damn it works. A definite proto-metal milestone.
1971 UK pressing on Bronze. I have the US editions of Salisbury and their debut, and both are notably different from these UK/European releases. I’ll give those a play at some point here too.
