This album is incredibly visceral, but has a couple of flaws that keep it from being epic. The opening and closing Perpetual Warfare cuts seem excessive and the slow track “Last Nail On The Coffin” is unfortunately placed and overly long and sort of bogs the album down just after Walk The Plank kicks things into gear. All said… this LP has some absolute crushing tracks. Burning Of Atlanta, Walk The Plank, Snake Pit,.. fuck… Snake Pit rips flesh!
1987 US pressing on Roadracer Records. Picked this up at a record show in the early 2000s along with Destruction’s Eternal Devastation, both for $6 each. Crushes.
